River Meditations are the sounds of running water combined with the gentle sound of a tibetan singing bowl. The individual tracks are timed to 10, 20 and 40 minutes so you can choose the length of time that you wish to meditate. The singing bowl indicates the beginning and end of each meditation session and when a quarter, half, and three quarters of the time have passed. The tracks have a 30 second lead-in and 30 second lead-out that are added to the core meditation times to allow the practitioner to start the meditation sounds and prepare for the meditation before the actual 10, 20 and 40 minutes begin and after they end. The three tracks are from three different rivers and while the first and the second tracks feature changing soundscapes as if wandering along the river, the third track features a single location. This way the practitioner has the options of either letting the river sounds guide her or him through the meditation time or being a non-changing background ambience.
